We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, Linda Spiers Hood of Millbrook, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sonny Hood; her parents, William A. "Buck" Spiers and Helen Spiers; her brother Tom Spiers; and her in-laws, Reuben and Alice Hood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Hood Bennett (Greg), Lisa Hood Montgomery (Gary) and Sonya Hood McCarley (Todd); her grandchildren, Will Bennett (Ashlin), Kyle Bennett (Valeri), Riley Anne Montgomery (Matt Birge), Clay Bennett (Carlie), Abby Brown (Blake), Clint McCarley (Jessie), Drew Montgomery (Jamie Day) and Paige Thornton (Chase); her brothers, Bill Spiers (Brenda) and Terry Spiers (Sheila); and her caregiver Jenny Blackburn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Memorial Baptist Church (1779 Fairview Ave, Prattville, AL 36066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund.
