He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cecil Emmit Brown, Josephine Angelo Brown, Emery Otis Gartman and Lucille Vickers Long; his brother Matthew Adam Gartman; and his friend Pinney Taylor.
He is survived by: his parents, Georgia Gartman Prosser and Harvey Otis Gartman; his sisters, Cecilia Gartman Methvin (Jeff) and Kelly Gartman Phillips; his nieces, Aislinn Methvin, Caroline Phillips and Claire Phillips; his nephew Sean Methvin; and his pets, Lady and Sammy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church and School or Little Flower Catholic Church and School.
