It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlien Arata Stokes of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, D. Frank Arata and Lea Etta Schreiner Arata; and her brother D. Frank Arata Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Alton F. Stokes, Sr.; her children, Mary Long (Richard), Karen Williams (Burk), Alton Stokes, Jr. (Stephanie) and Stephen Stokes (Jenny); her grandchildren, Zachary Long, Nicholas Long, Alison Williams Fryfogle, Laura Williams, Nicole Stokes Orso, Cameron Stokes, Hayden Stokes, Simms Stokes, Ethan Stokes, Lydia Clare Stokes and Molly Stokes; her great grandchildren, Samson Fryfogle, Finley Fryfogle, Ryleigh Orso, Brody Orso and Chatom Orso; and her sisters, Shirley Arata Vella and Mary Leigh Arata Rohling of Birmingham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
