She was predeceased by : her parents, Ashley "Bo" and Charlotte McCarthy; and her siblings, Art McCarthy and Susie Williams. She is survived by : her son Sam; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Houston; her grandchildren, Annalynn and Sam Jr. (Sambo); her siblings, Ashley McCarthy (Linda), Retta McCarthy and Peggy Harrison (John); and her close friend Wanda Hannon. She is also survived by many other nieces, cousins, and friends.
