She was predeceased by : her husband Grady Smith. She is survived by : her children, Peggie Lyons (Timothy), Sarah Horton (Gary) and Edward Creel (Melissa). She is also survived by two brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Restoration Church (1265 S Main St, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
