He was predeceased by : his parents, Mattie Carmichael and John Carmichael; his aunts and uncles, W. C. Carter, Odell Carter, Martha Hill and Myrtle Turner (late Preston Turner); and his great grandchild Otis Fralin.
He is survived by : his daughters, Shiquitha Boykin, Erin Rembert (Bobby) and Courtney Carmichael; his wife Angelitta Carmichael; his son Ralph Charles Carmichael, II; his grandchildren, Daniel Rembert, Ava Rembert, Marvin Peters, Jasmine Peters, Joshua Peters, Melissa Demetrii Perry, Kaeylan Perry and Michael Fralin; and his aunts and uncles, Willie Mae Johnson (late Oscar), Ethel Mae (late Silas) of Washington, Clara Barnes (late Eddie), Gladys Daniels (Arthella), Lloyd Carter, James Carter (Kathryn), Roy Lee Carter (DeLois) and Samuel Carter.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will not be a repass following the service.
He had a love for people and a desire to evoke change, which formed a foundation for him to work on various boards in the city of Mobile.
