We bid farewell to Rilla Knowles in Mobile, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Rilla touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hubert and Chester Alline Morgan Williams; her husband Charles Daniel Knowles; her siblings, Patsy Gressett and Ray Williams; and her sister-in-law Fannie Ruth Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Wilkerson (Grady) and Joe Knowles; her siblings, Anita Turner (Larry), Glenda McKinon, Richard Williams and Randy Williams (Sue); her grandsons, Caleb Knowles and Coleman Wilkerson (Chesney); her great grandchild Lincoln Wilkerson; and her friends, Nick, Amy, Grayson and Weston Gibson. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, & friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (34550 US-43, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Horeb Baptist Church or The Giddeons International.
