He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zelma Alice Crim and John Cecil Horton; his stepfather Edward Crim; his wife Sue Thomas Horton; his sons, Stephen Larry Horton (Kacie) and Jeffrey Wayne Roper; his sister Lisa Tiller; his daughter-in-law Mary Wright; his adoptive daughter Teresa Hernandez; his grandchildren, Katie Horton, Tucker Roper, Tyler Roper and Tabby Whitner; and his stepfather Bo Smith. He was also cherished by numerous step-siblings; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
