He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ora Hatcher and Cleveland Hatcher of Montevallo, Alabama.; his wife Vera Sue Hatcher; his children, Michael K. Staggs (Michele) and Jennie Stone (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Devon Stone (Kayla), Jacob Stone (Emma), Michael Austin Staggs, Savanna Staggs Juarez-Castillo (Ricky), Rebecca Staggs, AJ Staggs and Jayden Staggs. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
