David Lane Gober Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lane Gober (Montevallo, Alabama), who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Gober of Calera; and his stepsiblings, Reggie Gober of Calera and Brenda Smith of Calera. He is survived by: his daughter Ami Steed (Mark) of Alabaster; his mother Jacqueline Gober of Calera; his sister Patricia Crowe (Russell); his nieces and nephews, Niece-Gracie and Nephew-Mason Crowe; his close friend Michelle Lynn; his granddaughter Abby; and also, Jessica Canton, Kristin and Courtney Lynn.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer society in his name at Cancer.org or the Cancer Research Foundation at https: //fundraiser.cancerresearch.org/davidgober. *The city of Montevallo has a mask ordinance in effect.
