He is survived by: his wife Sharon Barefield of Montevallo; his children, Donnie Wayne Barefield of Jemison, Kim Kernop of Calera, Michael Carlee of Montevallo and Chris Barefield of Jemison; his stepsons, Josh Lett of Clanton and Scotty Gentry of Clanton; and his siblings, Truman Barefield of Calera, Frances Sheffield of Calera, Dorothy Jean Cost of Demopolis and Linda Stone of Calera. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
