He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Evelyn Hood; and his grandson Jeremy Lee Helton. He is survived by: his daughters, Suzette Hood and Stephanie Goodwin (Skipper); his grandchildren, Kevin Gardner (Kendall), Wes Hood, Colby Helton (Cheere) and Mary-Grace Helton (Henry); his great grandchildren, Kelsey Gardner, Kaleb Gardner, Ava Berlin Helton, Colburn Helton and Reuben Helton; and his siblings, Grace Hanson (Ralph), Willie Hood and Elson Hood (Sharon).
