He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Poe Shelton; his children, Belinda Averitt, Greg Shelton, Theresa Lacey and Terry Shelton; and his siblings, Nina Wilson, Glenda McDonald, Joe Shelton and Janice Burns. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
