We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2021, at the age of 89, Martha Elizabeth Nelson Hyde of Montevallo, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George Lewis Hyde; her son Lewis Wayne Hyde; her parents, John Nelson and Ida Nelson; and her siblings, Raymond Nelson, Fanny Booth, Dorothy Forrest, Margaret Lunsford and Jeanette Goggins.

She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Hamm (Calvin) and David Hyde (Margie); her grandchildren, James Hamm (Nancy), Kevin Hamm, Brandy Hamm, Shannon Hyde, Travis Hyde and Jon Hyde (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Molly and Harley Hyde; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Hyde (Judy), Glen Hyde and Sarah Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
