He was predeceased by: his mothers, Hester and Mary; and his stepfather Thomas Bolen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Hester; his siblings, Sherer Averette, Joyce Colburn and Tom Bolen (Mary); his daughters, Rebecca Gordon (Adam) and Joann Jackson (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Leah, Ben Gordon, Katelyn, Jordan, Madison and Kylie Jackson; his aunt Delora Waddell; and his sister-in-law Paula Clowdus (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
