It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherwood Joseph Stamps (Montevallo, Alabama), who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Britton Stamps, Jr. and Katherine Janet McEachern; and his pets, Silver, Smokey, Chickie Rouchez, Saber, Fifi, Jim and Hercules.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Faye Shaffer; and his children, Kelly Griffin, Audrey Wilkinson, Carrie Gibson, Amy Horrie, Nathan Stamps and Brad Stamps. He is also survived by six children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family gratefully accepts donations to Spring Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers.
