She was predeceased by: her husband J. Julius Sanders; her brothers, Lamar, Gilbert, Douglas, Richard, Wilbur and Raymond; and her parents, Lester Smith Smilie and Wilmer May Smilie.

She is survived by: her brother Loyd D. Smilie (Mary Emma). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many treasured friends.
