He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edgar and Betty Lou Carroll; and his brother Michael Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Pam Carroll; his children, Lindsey Folta (Aaron) and Ryan Carroll; his nieces, Robyn Bernier (Brian) and Kim Wilson (Glenn); his grandsons, Judson David, Silas Wesley, Nathan Greer, Everett Humes and William Wayne Folta; and his great-nephews, Cooper Louis, Tyler Pierce Bernier, John Parker and Jacob Price Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
