He is survived by: his wife Cheryl DeVenny Dempsey; his children, Beth Dempsey Gothard (Preston), Kim Lewis Rogers, Cindy Lewis Phillips and Pam Lewis Welsh; his grandchildren, Katie Gothard McDaniel (W. C.), Coleman Gothard (Emily), Max Biles, Morgan Dempsey, Haley Reece Nall (Joe), Hunter Rogers, Taylor Phillips Smith (Cody), Alex Welsh and Auston Welsh; and his great grandchildren, Bentley McDaniel, Hank Gothard, Clarke Gothard, Jaiden Nall, Laynie Nall, Lawson Nall and Kolby Nall.
