He is survived by: his wife Ann Collins Ammons; his children, Mallory Lee Hudson (Scott) and Michael Allen Ammons (Jennifer Jones); his grandchildren, Mallory Ann Wright (David) and William Andrew Gunter (Kelsie); his great grandchildren, Jacob Andrew Gunter, Marlee Ann Wright, Madelynn Grace Wright and Monroe Lily Wright; and his sisters, Betty Sue Head and Patsy Odom (Tommy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
