She was predeceased by: her sisters, Cindy and Katie. She is survived by: her husband Tom Sutherland; her children, Roger Sutherland, Jeff Sutherland (Danielle) and Heidi Cawthorne (Matt); her grandchildren, Tyler, Brent, Parker, Izzy and Dylan; and her siblings, Sandra, Susie and Jack.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her honor to the Wounded Warriors Project, Leukemia research, or to one's favorite charity.
