He is survived by: his wife Peggy Scofield Stansell; his children, Charles Reese Stansell (Shelly), Ashley Diana Stansell Black, John Michael Poundstone Jr. and Jessica Blair Stansell (Clay); his grandchildren, Ryan Black, Abby Stansell, Maddie Black, Marshall Stansell, Colby Yarbough, Emily Poundstone, Luke Black, Trent Yarbough, Jacob Stansell and Pippa Yarbrough; and his brothers, Richard Stansell (Marlit), Frederick Stansell (Linda) and Brett Stansell.
