He is survived by: his brother William Thomas Griffin, Jr. of Winterpark, FL; his daughter Anne Griffin Thompson (Irby); his son-in-law Robert Villines Stephenson; his grandchildren, Caroline Harwell Coffman (David), Elizabeth Stephenson Bohlke (Sanders), Robert Villines Stephenson (Morgan), John Dudley Stephenson, Irby Jones Thompson, Jr. (Katie), Thomas Williamson Thompson (Silvia), Lucy Margaret Thompson Israel (Whitt), Peter Owens Thompson (Haley) and Anne Caroline Thompson Hill (Holmes); and his friend Margaret Sylvest. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
