He is survived by: his wife Ann Weldon Sanders; his children, Mark Wayne Sanders and Kelli Leigh Sanders of Wetumpka; his aunt Martha Eleen Tucker; and his nephews, Steve, Scott Head, Wayne Weldon and Jimmy Cobb (Craig Lee).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
