He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Davidson and Sarah Davidson; and his siblings, Owen, Mitchell Davidson and Kathryn Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Mike (Lana) and Mark (Stacey); his grandsons, Evan, Samuel and Cody; and his siblings, Paul (Hilda), James (Mary), Alice Astafan (Pete), Jane Miniard and Myrtle Malone.
