We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2021, at the age of 92, Gloria Brooks Meriwether of Montgomery, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William B. Meriwether; her grandson Brooks Lazenby; and her siblings, Elizabeth Boarden, Dorothy Robinson, Christine Bridges and James Edgar Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Meriwether (Jane), Billie Joyce Lazenby (Lamar) and Susan Miers (Roy); her grandchildren, Laurie Wesley (John), Gil Miers (Kim), Tracy Atcheson (Michael), Ashlee Lowry (Ben) and Trent Meriwether (Maddy); and her brother John C. Brooks. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
