It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Byron Summerlin (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tonja Summerlin; his children, Jody Summerlin (Billie), Kim Barwick, Amy Summerlin, Chad Green (Brandi) and Nick Green; his grandchildren, Josh Summerlin, Rachel Gnemi, Charity Montague, Blaine Green, Mackenzie Green, Athens Green and Lizzy Cate Green; and his siblings, Glinda Hansel (Joe), Donald Summerlin (Betty) and Jerry Summerlin (Terry). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
