It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Dwayne Bern of Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Bern and Saul Bern; and his father-in-law Thomas Leon "Bull" Cochran. He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Lara (Jonathan Knight), Elizabeth (Jacob Dubin) and Eric Bern; his grandchildren, Sid Spear, Max Dubin and Lila Claire Dubin; his siblings, Debbie (Richard Bern), Sue Ann Stinson, Marilyn (Bruce Ming) and Gail (Joe Cochran); and his mother-in-law Marilyn Cochran. He is also survived by his wife, his children and grandchildren, and his friends.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Ascension, the Family Sunshine Center, the Brantwood Children's Home, and the Montgomery Humane Society.
