It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurice Darby Kern of Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Joseph (Joe Kern). She is survived by: her daughter Laura Williams (Kern); her son-in-law Scott Williams; her grandsons, Kern Williams and Miller Williams; and her sister Edsel Williams (Perry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, a private burial will take place at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to one of two organizations doing the sort of work she referred to as "the Lord's work.".
