Lucy B. Manly Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy B. Manly of Montgomery, Alabama, born in Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Basil Manly, IV (Jill), Cynthia Manly, Karen Pabich (Paul) and Anita Mayhew (Brett); her grandchildren, Allison, Ashley, Christopher, Connor, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Stephen and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Beckett, Holden, Jude, Lorelei, Oliver and Parker; her husband Col. Basil; her parents, Sidney Black and Willie Mae Black; her siblings, Lurton Black, Lorene Black and Geneva Shelton; and her granddaughter Brittany Anne Mayhew.
Due to the COVID-19 virus concerns, a graveside service for family only will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo on Friday, March 5 at 1:15 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lucy's name can be made to Vaughn Forest Church, First Baptist Church Community Ministries, or Hospice.
