She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel James G. Pratt and Rosalie Kulmus Pratt; her sister Elizabeth Schoenecker; and her husband Dr. Thomas Campbell Nolan (Buddy) of Troy, Alabama.. She is survived by: her son Reuben Earl Thornton III; and her son-in-law Sean Cullen Taylor of Atlanta, GA..

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the family will celebrate her life privately.
