He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Anderson and Mary Anderson; and his sister-in-law Marie S. Anderson. He is survived by: his siblings, Willie J. Anderson, Corine A. Carter, Carolyn A. Mann and Tyrone Anderson (Mary); his nieces and nephews, Kimberlynne Newton (Barney), Dr. Tracie M. Carter, Marsha R. Anderson and Joffrey Mann (Kimberly); and his great-nephew Isaac D. Robinson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
