She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Brumfield Coney and Marjorie Norman Coney; and her husband Lee Pegues. She is survived by: her children, W. Leigh Pegues of Hampton Cove, AL, John C. Pegues of Birmingham, AL, Michael E. Pegues of Fairhope, AL, Christopher N. Pegues of Hampton Cove, AL and Martha P. Pegues of Montgomery; and her siblings, Virginia Coney Borron of Plaquemine, LA and Bill Goodwin of Mobile, AL.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Judson College in Marion, AL.
