With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Nell Thompson (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis R. Thompson; her parents, Charles Vaughn and Mary Emma Vaughn (Whitman); and her siblings, Donald Vaughn, Byron Vaughn and Geraldine Vaughn Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Thompson Roberts (Alan) and Dennis Thompson (Erin); her sister Joyce Gilreath; her granddaughters, Kristi Dickens (Jimmy) and Kelli Bruce (Craig); her great grandchildren, Jay Dickens (Mary Ellen), London Williamson (Luke), Robby Bruce and Tanner Bruce; and her great great grandchildren, Griffin Dickens, Emma Harper Williamson and Lena-Kate Dickens.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in the name of Mary Nell Thompson to the American Heart Association.
