She was predeceased by: her former husband Ray Sexton; her parents, Marvin Sexton and Thelma Sexton; and her brothers, Andrew Sexton (Lorraine), Robert Lee Sexton (Ruby), James Sexton (Carolyn) and Joseph Sexton (Pat).

She is survived by: her son Rick Lester; and her brother Harvey Sexton (Judy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Salem Church of Christ Cemetery Fund: Matthew Pouncy, 6902 Bowden Road, Honoraville, AL 36042.
