He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank John and Ruth "Doll" Bollinger. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Bollinger; his children, Stephanie "Pete" Bollinger McGough (Chris), Jeff Josey, Patrick Haigler (Kristan) and Ashley Boswell; and his brother Alan Bollinger (Stephanie).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his honor to Rotary Foundation.
