He is survived by: his son Robert Hammock (Randa); his stepchildren, Vickie Carter, Ronda Looman (Jack), Jamie Carter (Susan), Michael Price and William Price; his sister Doris Balfour; his close friend Jeanette Price; his wife Betty Jo Hammock; and his sister Sarah Hornsby.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Elmore County Humane Society, 255 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, Alabama, 36092.
