He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Mills and Nancy Glisson; his wife Pauline McCoy Mills; and his siblings, Thelma Louise Mills, George Walter Mills, Cardell Mills, Madie Lee Mills, Mary Ruth Mills and Paul Mills.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Mills (Myra Senn), Kelvin Ray Mills (Debra Jones), Pamela Jean Pittman (Louis P.), Karen Ann Farrar (Thomas B.) and Rodney Allen Mills (Andrea Freeman); and his siblings, Betty Mills Avret, William Eugene Mills and Shirley Jane Mills. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
