He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Davenport and Helen Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Vila McWaters Davenport; his children, Nicole Samuels (Brian), Taylor Davenport and Kane Davenport (AnnaMarie); his stepchildren, Parker Wright (Lori) and Leslie Watters (Daniel); his grandchildren, Amelia Samuels, Pearson Samuels, Granger Samuels, Will Wright, Henry Wright, Andrew Watters and Jack Watters; his brothers, Sam Davenport (Loni) and Chris Davenport (Tracey); and his friends, Stakely, Johnston and Garrett.

In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials honoring the life of Ron Davenport may be directed to, "The Parkinson's Foundation" in Ron's honor.
