Stanley Gatrell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Gatrell (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on April 23, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Gatrell and Winnifred Gatrell; his wife Lynda Bear; his siblings, Andy (Evelyn), Frank (Edie), Jack (Evelyn) and Georgie (Rod); and his grandson Houston Bear.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilfred Gatrell (Linda), Elsie Patrick (Murray), Wynn Reidy (Vince), Kathy Coolican (Tom) and Janet Maurer (Laverne); his children, Brian Bear (Ivy), Thomas Bear (Raquel), Richard Bear (Denise) and Shannon Gatrell; his close friend Mokie; his grandchildren, Tristan, Jordan, Logan, Brittney, Boston, Cody, Mackenzie, Carter, Connor, Kelsey, Casey and Tyrell; his nieces, Colleen, Cheryl and Gail; and also Summer. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, May 1 at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stan's name can be made to a Humane Society of your choice, the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
