It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Ernest McGehee Sr. of Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Belle Merritt McGehee and John Andrew McGehee Sr.; and his siblings, John Andrew "Jack" McGehee Jr., Harriett McGehee Wade and Mary Elizabeth McGehee Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Shirley Kathleen McGehee, Jennifer Elaine McGehee and Thomas Ernest McGehee Jr. (Lane Moseley); and his siblings, Iris Joyce McGehee, William Edgar McGehee and Jane McGehee Barkley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home or Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church.
