Tom MacKin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom MacKin of Montgomery, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Richerson Mackin and Muriel Green Mackin; and his siblings, Gloria and Dan Mackin. He is survived by: his sons, Lee Richerson Mackin (Coby), Jeffrey Lewis Mackin (Joanne) and Russell Payne Mackin (Layne); his grandchildren, Marlee Kathryn, Luke Thomas, Jake Thomas, Sadie Harper and Brett Thomas; and his brothers, Cooper (Mary), John (Cheryl), Steve (Linda) and Jimmy (Joy). He is also survived by four sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tom's honor to The Capitol Sounds Concert Band.
