William Edwin Truitt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2021, at the age of 93, William Edwin Truitt in Montgomery, Alabama, born in Munford, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Samuel Grady Truitt, Sr. (Sam); his parents, Martin Grady and Adel Marie Truitt; and his children-in-law, Rhonda Lynn Bodiford Truitt and Walter Marec Huber.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Joan Powell Truitt; his children, William Edwin Truitt, Jr. and Marie Truitt Huber; his grandchildren, Christian Huber (Nancy), Scott Huber (Carol), Adrian Huber (Virginia) and Janice Huber (Maria); his great grandchildren, Adrianna Huber, Alyssa Huber Antonaccio (Gianni), Kristin Huber and Celeste Huber; his great great grandchild Ilya; and his sister-in-law Diane O'Neil Truitt. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Truitt Scholarship Fund through the First Baptist Foundation.
