He is survived by: his wife Loretta Veasley Cook; his daughters, Joni Cook Pittman (Delricus) of McDonough, GA and Rashida Dinkins Banks (Torrence, Sr.) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, TiMarcus Johnson, Autumn Pittman of McDonough, GA, Ariana Banks of Westfield, MA, Torrence Banks, Jr. and William Banks of Nashville, TN.; his siblings, Dr. Dorothy Hayes (Lewis) of Arlington, TX, Shirley Diane Cook of Montgomery, AL, Earnestine Dotson of Montgomery, AL, Donnetta Maynard of Montgomery, AL, Audrey Schwass of Birmingham, AL, Bennie James Cook, Jr. and Michael Ware of Wetumpka, AL; and his sister-in-law Gloria Holifield of Auburn Al. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous devoted friends.
