In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Leo Lavie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Leo Lavie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Garrett; and his parents, Lavie Garrett and Catherine Garrett. He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Chittam and Susan Norman (Steve); his grandsons, Blake Hokett and Collin Chittam (Jayme); and his great grandchildren, Jaiden Hokett, Jaxon Barrett, Cooper Chittam and Claire Chittam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
