He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Byrd and Gertrude Byrd; his wife Edwina Byrd; his daughter Tammy Marie Young; and his brother Tyrone Byrd.
He is survived by : his children, Emily Pitzulo and Jimmy Jacobs; and his siblings, Kathern Stanley (Roland), Dorothy Chestang (Elvin), Robert Byrd (Arlene) and Tyler Byrd (Ida).
