She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Lee Padgett and Mattie Lou Smith Padgett; and her siblings, Jerry Floyd Padgett, Melvin Lee Padgett, Jr., James Louis Padgett, Harvey Lee Padgett, Joseph Harold Padgett, Florene Beatrice Padgett and Rebecca Ruth Padgett.

She is survived by : her sister Rachael Louise Padgett of Douglasville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
