We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2022, at the age of 72, James Edward Dillard Sr. of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Fred Howard Dillard, Sr.. He is survived by : his close friend Sandra Jones; his children, Beverly Weaver (Deidrick), Ginger Cooper and James Dillard, Jr. (Leslie); and his siblings, Richard Stanley (Dale), Dannie Stanley, Paul Owens, Keenan Dillard, Willie Hilliard, Stephanie Phillips (Dwight), Eloise Jackson (Santiago), Leslie Russell (Bernard), Ann Vernon and Katie Finley (Albert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
