He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Bernard, Maude Rebman, James and Bertie Thompson; his parents, C. W. Thompson and Ruby Thompson; his brother Ronald Don "Ronnie" Thompson; his granddaughter Abby Grace Whitten; and his daughter-in-law Julie Askew Thompson.
He is survived by : his significant other Judy Hartley Thompson; his children, Scott Thompson (Kim) and Stacey Sims (Will); his grands, Lauren, Leah Whitten, Isabella, Rosemary Jule, Oliver, Vivienne, Anne Genevieve Thompson, Logan, Avery Linville, Carley and Aidan Sims; his sister Teresa Green (Steve); and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Green, Matthew Green (Marisa), Tennille Sullivan (Shawn) and Whitney Price (Ray).
