With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marty Willard Emerson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, born in Zion, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother Douglas Alan Emerson; and his grandparents, Will, Ruby Emerson, Hugh L. and Margie Boyett.

He is survived by : his parents, Willard Preston Emerson and Marylon Boyett Emerson; his daughter Melanie Heineman (Rob); his grandchildren, Anna, Rebecca, Paul and Hayden Heineman; and his brother Greg Emerson (Terri). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
